Frequently asked questions
Does resizing blur the pages?
No. The page isn't re-rendered: its content is wrapped in a scale-and-shift transform and the page box set to the new sheet, so text and vector graphics stay sharp at any zoom and a scan keeps every pixel it had. Bookmarks, links and form fields follow their content.
What happens to the parts outside the sheet with Fill or Actual size?
They sit outside the page box, which every viewer clips - so they aren't shown or printed, but they aren't removed from the file either. To remove content for good, use Redact.
Can I just scale the content without changing the paper?
Yes: choose Keep as the page size and set the scale - 90 % shrinks the content about the centre and leaves an even margin all round, for punching or binding.
Is the PDF uploaded?
Nothing is uploaded: the file is opened and processed inside your browser and never leaves your device. Close the tab and it is gone.
