Frequently asked questions

Which image formats can I turn into a PDF?

JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP and AVIF. HEIC photos need converting first - browsers cannot decode them.

Will my photos lose quality?

No. A JPG or PNG goes into the PDF byte for byte, with no second lossy pass, and a phone photo's orientation is honoured. Only if you switch on compression are large photos scaled down.

Can I put several images on one page?

Yes - two, four or six per page as a contact sheet, on A4, Letter, Legal or A3, with a margin and either fitted inside or cropped to fill. Or let each page take the exact size of its image.

Are my pictures uploaded?

Nothing is uploaded: the file is opened and processed inside your browser and never leaves your device. Close the tab and it is gone.
