Reorder Pages puts the pages of a PDF in a new order - an appendix scanned first, a page that slipped out of place, a stack that came out back to front. Drag the thumbnails where you want them, or select pages and move them with a button. Bookmarks and page labels follow their pages. It all happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

概要

  1. Drop your PDF on the page, or press Add files.
  2. Drag a thumbnail to its new place - or select pages and press To front, To back, Left or Right.
  3. Check the order: moved pages wear a badge.
  4. Press Reorder pages: the file is saved to your device straight away.

Add the files

Drop the PDF anywhere on the page, or press Add files - one file or several; each keeps its own order. The pages of the file selected in the list appear in the middle.

Reorder Pages with three files in the list and the selected report's eight pages

Drag the pages

Drag a thumbnail and drop it where it should go: the other pages slide out of the way while you drag, so you see the new order before you let go. Near the top or bottom edge the grid scrolls by itself.

To move several pages at once, select them first - a click selects a page, Shift + click takes a whole run - then drag any of them: the whole selection travels together, in its own order.

Move with buttons

Dragging across a long document is hard work, so the rail moves the selected pages for you. Select them on the thumbnails or with the bar above them ("7-8" in the range field, Odd, Even…), then:

  • To front / To back - to the beginning or the end of the document;
  • Left / Right - one place earlier or later;
  • In front of page - type a page number and press Move: the selection jumps right in front of that page, however far away it is.
Pages 7 and 8 moved to the front: they now lead the grid with a moved badge, the rest follows in order
The last two pages moved to the front; the badge marks the pages you moved.

Reverse or start again

  • Reverse turns the selected pages around within their places - or the whole document when nothing is selected, for a stack scanned last page first.
  • Original puts every page back where it came from.

Reorder and save

Press Reorder pages. The line under the button counts the pages moved. The file is saved to your device at once; the button then says Saved and turns into Save, which saves the same file again. Only files whose order changed are saved; several are saved together as a ZIP.

Pages are moved, not copied: bookmarks, links, form fields and page labels go with their pages.

Limits

Without an account, and with a free one, you can work on two files in a run, each up to 15 MB. With Pro there is no limit, and you can save a move - "odd pages to the front", the way two-sided scans are put right - as a preset to use on any document.

What next?

  • Reverse the whole document, or one rule's pages across many files? Reverse Pages.
  • Pages from several files in one order? Merge PDF.
  • A page that shouldn't be there at all? Delete Pages.
