How to extract pages from a PDF: a step-by-step guide

Drop the PDFs anywhere on the page, or press Add files - from one file or from several. The pages of the file selected in the list appear in the middle; click another row to see its pages.

Click a thumbnail to choose that page, or drag across several. The bar above the thumbnails chooses for you: All, Invert, Odd, Even, Landscape, Portrait, Every Nth, or the range field - "2, 4-5", or "10-" for page 10 to the end - applied with Enter. The file list counts the chosen pages of every file.

• Single PDF - every chosen page, from every file, in one new PDF.
• One PDF per file - each file's chosen pages in a PDF of their own.
• One PDF per page - every chosen page as a separate file.
• One PDF per range - every group you chose in one go - one drag, one click, or one comma part of the range field - as its own PDF. "2, 4-5" gives two files: page 2, and pages 4-5.

More than one result is saved together as a ZIP.

Press Extract pages. The line under the button says what comes out ("3 pages → 2 PDFs"). The new file is saved to your device at once; the button then says Saved and turns into Save, which saves the same file again. Any change turns it back into Extract pages.

Above the file list, Apply to decides how the pages are chosen. Under Selected file you pick the pages of each file by hand. Under All files one rule goes for every file by page position - "page 1 of each", "the last page", "every odd page" - for a pile of forms where you need the same sheet from every one. A file shorter than the rule is marked ⚠ in the list.

Without an account, and with a free one, you can work on two files in a run, each up to 15 MB. With Pro there is no limit on the number or the size, and you can save a rule such as "first page of each" as a preset.
