How to extract images from a PDF: a step-by-step guide
Cập nhật 2 tháng 10, 2026
Hướng dẫn này chưa có bằng tiếng Việt nên được hiển thị bằng tiếng Anh. Bản thân công cụ có tiếng Việt.
The photos of a brochure, the logo in a letterhead, the figures of a report: Extract Images saves the pictures embedded in a PDF as files of their own, at the resolution they are stored in. A JPEG leaves byte for byte as it is in the file, so nothing is lost; everything else comes out as a lossless PNG, transparency included. It all happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Tóm tắt

- Narrow the pages if you only want some of the pictures.
- Choose the format and the minimum size.
- Press Extract images: the pictures are saved to your device straight away.
Add the files
Format and size
- As stored (the default) - a JPEG comes out as the very JPEG in the file; everything else as a lossless PNG.
- PNG - everything lossless, transparency kept; a JPEG is decoded and saved again, larger.
- JPG - the smallest files; transparency lands on white.
Minimum size skips the small things - icons, bullets, rules - by their longer edge: All, 100 px or 300 px. A picture used on several pages comes out once, and the masks that make a picture transparent are not counted as pictures of their own.

Extract and save
Press Extract images. The line under the button counts the pictures. A single picture is saved as it is, several together as a ZIP, each named after its file and page - "Brochure_p003_img1.jpg" - so they sort in the order they appear.
Want each page as a picture, text and all? PDF to Image renders whole pages.
Limits
Without an account, and with a free one, you can extract from two files in a run, each up to 15 MB. With Pro there is no limit on the number or the size, and you can save your settings as a preset.
What next?
- Whole pages as pictures? PDF to Image.
- Pictures back into a PDF? Image to PDF.
- Shrink a PDF that is mostly photos? Compress PDF.
