How to change the page size of a PDF: a step-by-step guide
Posodobljeno 2. oktober 2026
Ta vodnik še ni na voljo v slovenščini, zato je prikazan v angleščini. Samo orodje deluje v slovenščini.
A stack that mixes A4 and Letter, an A5 scan that should print on A4, a document that needs a wider margin for a binding: Resize PDF pages puts every page on a sheet of one size and scales its content to suit, or keeps each page's size and shrinks what is on it. Text and drawings stay sharp, since nothing is turned into an image. It all happens in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Na kratko
- Drop your PDFs on the page, or press Add files.
- Pick the Page size: A4, A5, A3, Letter, Legal, a custom size, or Keep.
- Choose the orientation, the placement, the scale and the margin.
- Press Resize pages: the file is saved to your device straight away.
Add the files
Drop the PDFs anywhere on the page, or press Add files. The file list shows each file's page size. Every tile in the middle is a page as it will come out - the sheet at its real proportions and the content where it lands.

The settings
- Page size - A4, A5, A3, Letter, Legal, Custom (width and height in millimetres), or Keep - every page keeps its own size, for when only the scale should change.
- Orientation - Follow the page (a wide page goes onto a landscape sheet), or every sheet Portrait or Landscape.
- Placement - Fit scales the content to fit inside the sheet, nothing cut off; Fill scales it to cover the sheet, cutting off what doesn't fit; Actual size doesn't scale it at all, only centres it.
- Scale - a percentage on top of the placement, from 10 to 400 %.
- Margin - none, small, medium or large, a white edge kept free around the content.

What falls outside the sheet under Fill or Actual size is hidden, not removed from the file. To take something out for good, use Redact PDF.
Resize and save
Press Resize pages. The line under the button counts the pages that change; a page that already has the chosen size and scale is left as it is. The file is saved to your device at once - several files together as a ZIP. Bookmarks, links and form fields move with the content.
Several files at once
Above the file list, Apply to decides how several files are resized. Under Selected file each file can have its own settings; under All files one setting is used for every file and the files' own settings are set aside, not lost. Copy to the other files gives the settings on screen to the other files.
Limits
Without an account, and with a free one, you can resize two files in a run, each up to 15 MB. With Pro there is no limit on the number or the size, and you can save a combination of settings as a preset.
What next?
- Cut the white margins off instead? Crop PDF.
- Several pages on one sheet? N-up (Multiple Pages per Sheet).
- Put the files together afterwards? Merge PDF.
