1.1 Acceptance. By accessing or using the Service you accept these terms, including any additional terms presented to you for specific features.

1.2 Privacy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. By using the Service you agree to it.

1.3 Client-side processing. MammothPDF processes your files entirely in your browser, on your own device. Your file contents are not uploaded to or stored on our servers as part of the PDF tools. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of any files and results.

1.4 Changes to the Service. We may modify, update, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. If we discontinue a paid Service in its entirety, we will provide a pro-rata refund of any prepaid, unused fees.

1.5 Age. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. To buy a subscription you must be at least 18 or otherwise have full legal capacity to enter into a contract.

2.1 License to you. Subject to your compliance with these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service.

2.2 Our intellectual property. We and our licensors own all right, title, and interest in the Service and its software, branding, and content. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. You may not resell the Service or any part of it.

2.3 Third-party and open-source components. The Service includes third-party and open-source components, which remain subject to their own licenses.

3.1 Ownership. You retain all rights to the files and content you process. We claim no ownership of them.

3.2 Our access. Because processing happens in your browser, we do not access your file contents in the course of providing the PDF tools. We may access limited account and diagnostic information only to (a) respond to support requests; (b) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, unlawful, or technical issues; and (c) enforce these terms.

3.3 Output metadata. Files you produce carry a standard "Producer: MammothPDF" entry in their document properties, as every PDF names the program that wrote it. Nothing else is added to your documents.

4.1 Free / anonymous use. Every tool is available without an account, subject to a daily usage limit; a free account has a larger limit. To apply those limits we may create an anonymous session (a cookie) and count runs per network address in a hashed form; this is not a registered account. The Privacy Policy has the details.

4.2 Your account is personal. Your account is for your own, personal use. You are responsible for all activity that takes place through your account and for keeping your password confidential. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.3 No sharing. You may not share your login credentials with anyone, allow any other person to use your account, or use someone else's account. A single Pro subscription is licensed to one individual.

4.4 Device limit. To prevent misuse, a Pro subscription may be active on a limited number of devices at the same time. Signing in on an additional device may sign the Pro session out on the least-recently-used device. This limit does not restrict how many files you can process - only how many devices use one subscription simultaneously.

4.5 No resale or circumvention. You may not resell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise make the Service available to third parties, and you may not circumvent any access, usage, or device limits we put in place.

4.6 Teams. A Team subscription buys a number of seats. The buyer is the team's owner: they invite members by e-mail, may remove them, assign seats and change the seat count. Each seat is for one named individual, subject to sections 4.2 to 4.4. A member's access lasts while they hold a seat and the subscription is live: it ends when the owner removes them, when they leave, or when the subscription ends. The owner sees members' names and e-mail addresses; members see the owner's name and the team's renewal date, not its price. Adding seats is charged pro rata at once; reducing seats takes effect at the next renewal, and pending invitations beyond the new count are withdrawn then.

You must use the Service responsibly and lawfully. You must not:

• use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party rights;
• upload or process content you do not have the right to process;
• attempt to disrupt, disable, overburden, or impair the Service;
• access the Service other than through the interface we provide, or use automated means to extract data or abuse usage limits;
• circumvent access or usage restrictions; or
• use the Service to infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.

6.1 Subscriptions. Paid ("Pro" and "Team") features require a subscription. Current prices are shown on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (UK) or Paddle.com Inc. (US), which sells the subscription to you as the merchant of record: the purchase contract is between you and Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms (paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms) apply to it alongside these terms. Paddle issues your invoices and handles refunds.

6.2 Free trial. A free trial, where offered, lasts for the period stated at sign-up and is available to new customers only. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid plan and we (via Paddle) charge your selected payment method. You can cancel anytime from your account page.

6.3 Billing and renewal. Subject to section 6.6, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and does not retroactively refund amounts already paid, except where required by law.

6.4 Price changes. We may change prices. A change never affects a period you have already paid for: we notify you by e-mail at least 30 days before it applies, it takes effect from your next renewal after that notice, and you may cancel before then at no cost.

6.5 Taxes and third-party fees. Prices shown on our pricing page and at checkout include VAT and any other sales tax that applies to you; Paddle collects and remits them. Fees charged by your own bank or card issuer (e.g., currency conversion) are yours.

6.6 Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of concluding it without giving a reason. By starting a subscription you ask us to begin providing it at once, within that period; if you withdraw after having used the Service, the law allows a proportionate amount for the part already provided to be retained. Withdrawal and refund requests go to Paddle as the seller: use the link on the receipt Paddle e-mailed you (paddle.net) or Paddle's support; Paddle refunds to the payment method you paid with, and the subscription ends when it does. After the 14 days, section 6.3 applies.

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your requirements. You use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for keeping backups of your files.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or related to these terms is limited to the greater of EUR 100 (or its equivalent) or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or personal injury).

9.1 By you. You may stop using the Service and cancel any subscription at any time from your account page.

9.2 By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay applicable fees, where required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. We may suspend or terminate any account we reasonably believe is being shared or used in breach of section 4.

9.3 Survival. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, dispute resolution) will survive.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the law or to the Service. We post the updated terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. For a change that materially affects your rights or a paid subscription we notify registered users by e-mail or with a notice in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect; until then you may cancel at no cost. Using the Service after a change takes effect means you accept it.

11.1 Steps. You create an account (e-mail and password, or Google), choose a plan and a seat count on the pricing page, review the summary at Paddle's checkout - where you can correct any entry before confirming - and confirm the purchase. The subscription starts at once; Paddle e-mails you a confirmation and the invoice.

11.2 Form. The contract is concluded electronically and is not a written contract in the sense of Hungarian law. We do not file it; these terms are available on this page at all times and can be saved or printed, and your subscription's details are shown on your account page.

11.3 Language. The Service and these terms are available in English and Hungarian. Both versions have equal standing; for consumers resident in Hungary the Hungarian text prevails in case of discrepancy, otherwise the English.

12.1 Complaints. Write to info@mammothpdf.com. We answer a complaint in writing within 30 days. For the purchase itself (payment, invoice, refund) Paddle is the seller and its support handles the request; we help you get there.

12.2 Conciliation. If you are a consumer in Hungary and we cannot settle a complaint, you may turn to the conciliation body competent for our seat: Fejér Vármegyei Békéltető Testület (Fejér County Conciliation Board), 8000 Székesfehérvár, Hosszúsétatér 4-6., Hungary, bekeltetesfejer.hu. You may also contact the consumer protection authority (fogyasztovedelem.kormany.hu). Consumers elsewhere in the EU may use the dispute-resolution bodies of their own country.

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be subject to the competent Hungarian courts, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in, or be sued only in, your country of residence.

14.1 Entire agreement. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede prior agreements on the subject.

14.2 Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

14.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

14.4 Assignment. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
