How to mirror PDF pages: a step-by-step guide

Drop the PDFs anywhere on the page, or press Add files. The pages of the selected file appear as thumbnails, so you can see which one reads backwards. A Word, Excel or PowerPoint file or a photo works too - it is turned into a PDF as it arrives.

Click a thumbnail to choose it, or drag across several; the bar above the thumbnails picks odd, even, landscape or every Nth page, or takes page numbers such as "2, 5-7". With nothing chosen, the whole file is mirrored. Then:

• Horizontal - left and right swap, as in a mirror held beside the page;
• Vertical - top and bottom swap;
• both together - a 180° turn with mirror-written text.

Each button switches its axis on and off: press it again and the pages go back. Remove the flip from the selected pages clears both. The mirror follows the page as you see it, so a page that is shown turned is mirrored the way it looks on the screen.

Press Flip pages. The line under the button counts the mirrored pages. The file is saved to your device at once - several files together as a ZIP. Nothing is turned into an image: text stays text, and bookmarks, links and form fields stay with their pages.

Above the file list, Apply to decides how several files are mirrored. Selected file mirrors the pages you choose in the file selected in the list; All files applies one rule by page position to every file, such as "mirror every even page horizontally". Copy to the other files gives the settings on screen to the other files, which you can then adjust one by one.

Without an account, and with a free one, you can flip two files in a run, each up to 15 MB. With Pro there is no limit on the number or the size, and you can save a rule such as "even pages, horizontal" as a preset.
